Today, Nov. 1, marks the beginning of the Black Friday 2016 holiday shopping season for Dell, Amazon and New Egg, all of which have formally revealed deals on everything from laptop computers to virtual reality gaming systems to.
DELL STRIKES EARLY
Dell is offering select deals for 24 hours starting at 8am EST on Nov. 1 and then more blockbusters on Nov. 24-25 for Black Friday and Nov. 28 for Cyber Monday. Dell's hoping to lure potential buyers into its various loyalty programs to get earlier access to deals, and is offering free shipping for those who shop at Dell.com.

Among Dell's deals on Nov. 1 are an Inspiron 15 3000 Series laptop for $250, which is $50 off the regular price. The machine comes with a Dual Core Intel Celeron processor, Windows 10 Home, 4GB of RAM, 500GB of storage. Other deals: $800 for an Alienware Alpha gaming PC that regularly costs $900 and $400 for an Inspiron Desktop with 8GB of memory and a 1TB hard drive that usually costs $500.
Dell's Black Friday doorbusters include an Inspiron 11 3000 laptop for half off at $100, a 2-in-1 Inspiron 11 3000 for $300 ($150 off) and an Xbox One S 500 GB Battlefield 1 bundle (plus Gears of War 4 and a controller) for $250 ($170 off).
NEWEGG TOUTS BLACK NOVEMBER
Online tech retailer Newegg has deemed this month Black November and has lined up a series of deals that run for several days at a time, such as its gaming sale that runs Nov. 8-14 and extra special deals on Nov. 25, Black Friday itself, and the next day. So yeah, you're going to need a scorecard here.
Among the deals:
*Lenovo 12.5" ThinkPad Yoga 12 2-in-1 touchscreen ultrabook with an Intel Core i5 processor for $500 ($100 off)
*CyberpowerPC Desktop PC with a 1TB hard drive for $750 ($100 off)
*HTC One A9 32GB 5-inch Topaz Gold unlocked smartphone for $330 ($170 off)
AMAZON COUNTS DOWN TO BLACK FRIDAY
The early Black Friday action at Amazon is at its Countdown to Black Friday page, which kicks off with Deals Week. Amazon's deals are all over the map, from winter coats to art kits for kids, but on the tech side, the online retailer is slashing prices on Kindle e-readers (for example, $20 off on the newest Kindle, the Kindle Voyage, Kindle for Kids Bundles and Kindle Paperwhite) and and ASUS C201 11.6" Chromebook with 16GB of storage ($179, or $20 if you have Amazon Prime). Amazon is attempting to woo more people to sign on for Prime, which will also give you 30-minute earlier access to deals throughout the holiday shopping season.

SNEAK PEEK AT T-MOBILE DEALS?
While all of the above are official early Black Friday announcements, T-Mobile's Black Friday offers have leaked and are not officially from the wireless provider. Word of T-Mobile's deals surfaced first on Reddit and has been repeated many other places. Among the supposed deals are a free iPad Mini 4 via bill credits, 30% off iPhone accessories when you buy three, and a 4th line on T-Mobile.
