How we tested Opnet IT Guru 9.0.The software was installed on a Dell Precision 330-workstation running Windows 2000 Professional. We set up a test application running on a Web server using HTML. The application sent out regular reports on the status of the production network. A Cisco 6500 router and several Cisco 2924XL switches were placed between the test workstation and server. This let us test how well IT Guru diagnosed our test application running over the production network.
