OK, here’s a hot product: A Linux-based computer slightly larger than an RJ45 connector housing an ARM7 CPU at 55 MHz running uClinux kernel 2.4.27 and Busybox 1.0 with a 10/100 Mbit half/full duplex Ethernet and a serial port that runs up to 230,400 baud. The picotux 100 from Kleinhenz Elektronik GmbH is a remarkable device priced at 99 euros. The slightly larger picotux 112 (actually a picotux 100 mounted on a PCB) and slightly more expensive (119 euros) will soon have power over Ethernet (PoE). No idea what we could use it for but we want one.
Small may be beautiful but minute is hot
