Message on site promises video with be 'available soon'
Whether it was made public prematurely or not isn’t clear, but a video of Apple’s Oct. 19 memorial service for Steve Jobs was posted to the company’s Web site night for a time before being replaced by this message:
“Available soon. Please check back later. … A celebration of Steve’s life: Oct. 19, 2011. Watch the special event, filmed live at the Apple campus in Cupertino, California.”

Several news accounts about the video materialized before it was removed, including this one from the BBC:
Speakers included chief executive Tim Cook, board member and former US Vice President Al Gore, and Jonathan Ive, the British designer responsible for many of Apple’s iconic products.
Mr Cook described his friend’s passing as the saddest time of his life.
Addressing the assembled crowd of several hundred Apple staff, he praised his predecessor as a visionary: “Steve never followed the herd. He thought deeply about almost everything and was the most unconventional thinker I have ever known.”
Meanwhile, journalists continue to churn out stories based on the Jobs biography being released today.
