Who knows what they'll get into next
It was my whimsical thought when I saw this picture of Google Chairman Eric Schmidt posted to his Google+ account an hour ago. I mean they’re doing the self-driving car thing, so maybe this is a self-riding bike of some kind.
Alas, there is a more prosaic story behind the photo, according to Richard Masoner, a bicycle enthusiast himself who works at “Oracle nee Sun” and left this comment on Google+: “Good photo, but Google’s had these inter-office bikes at their Shorline campus for years.”
I still like the self-riding bike idea.
And, by the way, Schmidt’s posting of this picture is definitely more evidence that Google executives are getting themselves busier on Google+ since taking a measure of grief from the blogosphere over their apparent inactivity there.
