It’s been a rich week for techie videos already, with a musical tribute to Internet memes, an impressive marketing stunt from Microsoft, MIT and Boeing joining forces, and more.
First, the GAG Quartet offers up its musical tribute to the Internet meme. Sure, this has been done before (and with better music: Weezer’s “Pork and Beans”), but still a fine effort
that earned the video viral status Wednesday:

Microsoft highlighted some new Windows Phones at a press conference, er, “celebration” on Monday that we had planned to attend when it was still a press conference. Anyway, Microsoft seems to be getting at least some momentum going for its phone technology, as we reported in a story late last week headlined “Surprise! Windows Phone gaining traction.” Here’s coverage from the event from our colleagues at IDG News Service. Fortunately, Microsoft posted a time-lapse video of a six-story Windows Phone going up in Herald Square near Macy’s.
