Apple a few days ago sent out invitations to a few select media outlets inviting them to a special media event set to take place at the Guggenheim Museum in NYC next Thursday, January 19.

Apple veteran Eddy Cue, who serves as Apple’s Senior VP of Internet Software and Services, will likely be the point person for the event which, according to the invitation, will be education oriented. Indeed, when rumors of the event first surfaced a few weeks ago, it was reported that the event would focus on the publishing industry.
