A Lab Rat apologizes for dropping off the face of the earth and not posting. ☺
endif; ?>“Uh … Err … Hi again. It’s me. So … uh … how’s it going? What have you been up to? Err … umm …” Ever had one of those times in your life that you just don’t know what to say to a friend? You told them you would do something (call, write, return a call, keep in touch, call more often) but you don’t. And then time passes. And you think to yourself… “Man, I have to fix this.” But you don’t. And more time passes. Now it is just awkward! Yup! This is me right now. I could say “sorry” and I could list all the things that “kept me too busy to post.” Or, I could just start posting again and not acknowledge or address the obvious (I’ve been missing in action). TRUTH? I take on too much. I’m too often like the girl in the musical “Oklahoma,” the girl who “Cain’t Say No,” except she only had the issue with “fellers,” I have it across so many areas of my life. So many of us nowadays take on too much. We try to do too many things and spread ourselves too thin. And as a general rule, our culture and our industry reinforce this.
