Apple yesterday sent out official invitations to select media outlets to a special media event where the iPad 3 will likely be unveiled by Apple CEO Tim Cook and his trusty cohort of executives. The event is scheduled to take place next Wednesday, March 7 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco at 10 am.

The invite, pictured above, states: “We have something you really have to see. And touch.”

Many assume that this is a teaser regarding the rumored Retina Display that will likely be one of the key selling pionts of the iPad 3. Other rumored features include 4G LTE support, a faster graphics processor, and upgraded cameras on both the front and back.
