And if that's too difficult, don’t make matters even worse
Three pieces of unsolicited advice this morning after reading this story from Dunwoody, Ga., on the Web site of the Atlanta FOX affiliate:
If you should drop your phone down a trash chute, do not attempt to climb in and retrieve it, because you might get stuck and require rescue by the fire department.
Second, if you should ignore that first bit of advice, do not under any circumstances agree to an on-air interview with a television news reporter. This is not the 15 minutes of fame you want.

And, finally, if instead of a trash chute you happen to put your phone through a washing machine, do not send the soggy device down a trash chute, as it is possible it will still work once it dries out.
