Serious story on international efforts to help Syria becomes a viral web job
A serious BBC report on international efforts to help war-torn Syria has become the butt of jokes after the news operation mixed up a logo from the game Halo with that of the United Nations Security Council.
The logo shown, alongside a legitimate one for Amnesty International, is actually for Halo’s United Nations Space Command, which according to Halo Wikia “serves as the military, exploratory and scientific agency of the Unified Earth Government.”
