Video demonstrates just how cool its Snapdragm S4 processor1 is vs. unnamed competition
Qualcomm, which in the past employed bugs and taken a trip around the world to show off the qualities of its Snapdragon processors for smartphones and tablets, this time resorts to a little old-fashioned cooking experiment.
Qualcomm engineers first show how the Snapdragon S4 processor1-powered phone stays cooler vs others via thermal imaging. The engineers then go on to place chunks of butter on the phones, and sure enough the butter stays cool on the Snapdragon powered phones, and melts atop the others (butter melts at 25 celsius, Qualcomm’s employee says).
