New color photos of Apple's 035 tablet mockup have emerged
Following our report yesterday detailing the earliest known photos of an iPad prototype, Buzzfeed was able to find color photos of the infamous 035 tablet mockup measured against the iPad 2. The differences between the 8+ year old mockup and the current iteration of the iPad couldn’t be any more stark.

The size difference is quite apparent, with the earlier tablet mockup looking much more like the backside of a laptop than a standalone tablet.
And this photo below really shows how much thicker the prototype is than what we thankfully use today.
This is almonst an inch thick.
