Network World, Reddit get into Talk Like a Pirate Day spirit

For better or worse, Network World has done its part to  recognize Talk Like a Pirate Day on this Sept. 19 by serving up our 10 suggestions for how to celebrate this occasion.

But a serious tip of the pirate’s cap to social news aggregator Reddit, which has gone overboard celebrating the day. They’ve dressed up their alien mascot in a pirate’s get-up, have changed tabs to feature terms like Scurvy and Topsail, and changed the usual Submit button to “Hoist a sail”. Lots more aye’d, naye’d & any other pirate slang you can come up with is sprinkled across the site.
