Halloween tradition of Ghosting takes on strange techie twist
Ghosting has become an increasingly popular pre-Halloween tradition in our corner of Massachusetts, involving the secretive dropping off of a bag of goodies at the front door, accompanied by a doorbell ring or door knock.

We got Ghosted for the first time this Halloween season last night and it was by far the oddest Ghosting bag we’ve ever received. Typically, these bags include some candy, maybe a few little toys, and a note encouraging us to pay it forward by Ghosting a couple more people.
The contents of this bag: Conjoined apples, smiley face stickers (real live emoticons?), a plastic necklace, a plastic spiky ball, candy (which was gone by the time I got home) and….ta-da…an old, dead 8300 series BlackBerry Curve.
Maybe the Ghoster is going all-in on BlackBerry 10 and is ditching their old ones?
