Novelty Twitter account nails the ‘what if’ essence of timeless sitcom
Back on Dec. 10 I urged you to check out Modern Seinfeld, a novelty Twitter account that asks: “What if Seinfeld were still on the air?” At the time, it was less than 24 hours old and had already been followed by 28,000 fans. That’s now up to almost half a million … and the funny it just keeps on flowing.
Since few of you can read 304 tweets about a television show that last aired in 1998 — and call that reading work — I have plucked out what I consider to be the 15 best that involve technology in some form or another. Enjoy.
Modern Seinfeld is written by Jack Moore, sports editor at BuzzFeed, and comedian Josh Gondelman. They deserve an Emmy.
