Apple yesterday released the fifth beta of iOS 7, an update which includes a number of bug fixes and performance improvements. There have also been a few aesthetic changes that some beta testers might be happy to know about.
First and foremost, Apple has finally taken steps to add a little bit of color contrast to the settings pane in iOS 7. Whereas the settings pane used to be almost completely dominated by blue icons, Apple has now spruced it up a bit to make it more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

It’s like night and day, and in my opinion, a much welcome change.
Another tweak in iOS 7 beta 5 is a new option to turn off Control Center when using applications. While one might wonder why anyone would ever want to remove the glory that is Control Center, it can sometimes be a nuisance when using apps that require swiping up from the bottom of the display.
The app update can be accessed as an over-the-air update via Apple’s Settings > General > Software Update section, or downloaded from Apple’s Developer Center.
With previous betas, I’ve noticed that a lot of calls are being misdirected directly to voicemail, a phenomenon a friend jokingly referred to as a feature. Hopefully, with iOS 7 beta 5, things will run a bit more as intended.
