On the eve of Halloween, news breaks that Yahoo CEO buys a morg

Here’s one way to celebrate the ghostly holiday: Buy a funeral home.

According to media reports in the Bay Area, that’s exactly what Yahoo! CEO Marisa Mayer has done. The Mountain View News was the first to report this eerie real estate transaction, which closed earlier this month. Details as to why Mayer purchased the 1.16-acre property are still spookily-scant, but the site is close by to where the millionaire ex-Googler lives now.

The Mountain View News reports that the funeral home is set to decease as a business on Halloween day after being at the Palo Alto site for 62 years. Perhaps Mayer really wants to freak out the trick-or-treaters in her neighborhood.
