Target’s numbers on breach continue to miss the mark

The first word from Target was that 40 million customers had been victimized in its devastating data breach.

That was corrected up to 70 million.

Then Target clarified its correction, saying that the 70 million was really an additional 70 million, meaning the total is now many as 110 million.

Of course, that’s as of the moment.  Next I fully expect the company to tell us our data was stolen if we’ve ever driven by one of their stores.
