If only next-gen firewalls were as effective as this squirrel-sicle maker

Security device results in grim end for hungry critter

Don’t ask me why, but for some reason when my neighbor informed us that a squirrel had become frozen solid inside her Squirrel Bust Plus bird feeder, I couldn’t help but think of the oodles of next-gen firewalls and other security products peddled by vendors over the years in an effort to contain or destroy malware.

Although in this case, I think the idea for the product is to keep the critters out of the bird feeder, not to trap them inside it during this frigid New England winter.
