New MacBook Pro and Air models may be released in the next few months.

Last week, a forum member on WeiPhone with a decent track record with respect to Apple rumors posted that we may soon be seeing a MacBook refresh sometime soon.

The post relays that the new MacBooks will ship without a fan and will also feature a redsigned trackpad.

MacRumors originally spotted the forum posting and provides the following translation:

1. MacBook Air updates are coming soon; MacBook Pro updates won’t occur until September.

2. He discusses a new 12-inch notebook without fan assembly. It comes with a new trackpad design that doesn’t include the mechanical button, as we do on current MacBooks.

3. An Apple watch device does exist but still in prototype stage, so its announcement won’t come anytime soon.

Note that in-the-know analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported this past October that Apple was eyeing a newly designed 12-inch MacBook with an “ultra-slim clamshell form factor” that will “redefine laptop computing once again following the milestone created by the MacBook Air.”

The MacBook Air was last refreshed in June 2013, while the MacBoko Pro was last refreshed this past October.
