Let’s Get D-I-G-I-T-A-L (Theory)

Continuing in our month-long focus on the CVOICE exam, the latest video blog posting discusses the theory of digital voice ports. Examples of digital voice ports include T1 and E1 ports. The video describes these port and circuit types and discusses how both Channel Associated Signaling (CAS) and Common Channel Signaling (CCS) are performed. The next video, to be released later in the week, takes the theory we learn in this video and applies it in a configuration demonstration.
