Beginning in September this blog set out with a mission to cover certification topics from one Cisco exam a month every month. During September, you’ve been presented with a series of CVOICE videos, and a collection of practice exam questions. I’ve received some fantastic feedback from readers inspired to go after the exam. When considering what exam to address in October, I was reminded that back in August I shared three videos focusing on challenging QoS issues. So, I decided during the month of October, we’ll cover QoS exam topics in much greater depth. And I do mean MUCH greater depth. In fact, I plan on giving away a total of twelve additional QoS videos.
These videos are from a “QoS Study Pack” product I used to sell on my website. This study pack included these videos and a practice exam with very detailed explanations. The exam is NOT a brain dump. I would much rather teach you exam content than have you memorize answers.

I don’t want to get markety. So, let’s get straight to the first video. This video addresses what I honestly consider to be the most important topic in all of QoS… MQC (Modular Quality of Service Command Line Interface). Once you master the three-step MQC process, you’ll know the basics of setting up a ton of QoS mechanisms, including: CB-Classification, CB-Marking, CB-WFQ, LLQ, CB-WRED, CB-ECN, CB-Shaping, CB-Policing, and CB-Header Compression.
