Here’s the main headline on the Associated Press story: “Officials in 49 states launch foreclosure probe.”
Here’s the sub-headline right below the main headline: “Attorneys general in 49 states launch probe into problems with documents used in foreclosures.”
And here are the first few words of the first sentence of the actual story: “Officials in 49 states have launched a joint investigation …”
OK, class, what’s the question that is bound to be on almost every reader’s mind right about now?
The answer is … not … in … the … story. (At least not as I type; perhaps they’ll come across with it in an update.)
