Next-gen Internet, 4G wireless and more on IEEE program
Am kinda kicking myself for not heading down to the IEEE Globcom event in Miami this week, not that I’m looking to escape chilly Boston or anything. If you happen to be in the area, you might want to check it out.
The program features discussions on everything from the Next Generation Internet, featuring experts from universities and research-heavy outfits like Raytheon BBN, to the future of wireless networking. Glitch-free multimedia, cloud computing and IPv6 are among the other topics on the agenda.
Fortunately, some of the program will be available to the press via live webcasts, so I will try to check a few out this week.
