Existing Verizon customers can reserve phones ahead of launch
Verizon Wireless announced today that it will offer a CDMA version of iPhone 4 starting Thursday February 10.
The 16-Gbyte model will be priced at $199.99; the pricetag is $299.99 for the 32GB model. A two-year contract is required. Existing Verizon Wireless subscribers will have a chance to reserve a phone online, starting Frebruary 3, before they’re offered to the public at large.
Verizon’s updated Website is already live.
The Verizon models will include new “Personal Hotspot” capabilities: up to five other devices can connect to the iPhone using Wi-Fi, and then make use of the phone’s cellular connection.

UPDATE: I’m still not seeing information on the data plans. The iPhone 4 prices are essentially the same as AT&T’s. The original iPhone carrier offers two capped data plans: Data Plus, with up to 200 Mbytes, for $15/month; and Data Pro, up to 2 GB of data for $25/month.
