More proof that life does indeed imitate art
This won’t be funny if you haven’t seen Pulp Fiction. (Of course, if you haven’t seen Pulp Fiction and have no aversion to ultra-violent, profanity-laden movies, you are depriving yourself of a cinematic treat.)
Anyway, I’m in the kitchen making dinner tonight when I overhear parts of this conversation in the living room, along with the TV:
Daughter: (Asks some unintelligible question.)
Son: “What?”
Daughter: (Asks the same question again, presumably).
Son: “What?”
On the third “what?” my mind flashes to the “Say What Again” scene in Pulp Fiction (seriously NSFW). And I start laughing at the thought of Samuel L. Jackson storming through the front door and advising my son, “Say what again, say what again, I dare you, I double dare you (bad word), say what one more (bad word) time.”
I do love my children, honestly I do.
And, yes, we’ll have his hearing checked.
