Student explains high speed wireless broadband usability project
Ball State University student Ryan Lasure, atop a 10-story building on campus, explains the Wimax usability project he’s involved in at the school (see video). He says 150 students have been given Wimax USB dongles to provide them with free broadband wireless, and in return the school is measuring their reaction to the speed, distance (works as far away as about 2 miles from campus) and software being used, among other things.
