Now you certainly don't see this every day. Steve Jobs has made quite the name for himself as the most to-the-point email responder in tech, which is why this intense email exchange he had with Gawker blogger Ryan Tate is so unusual and fascinating.

Now you certainly don’t see this every day. Steve Jobs has made quite the name for himself as the most to-the-point email responder in tech, which is why this intense email exchange he had with Gawker blogger Ryan Tate is so unusual and fascinating.

Tate was curiously offended by a recent iPad commercial he saw, so decided to write Jobs last Friday night and invoke the holy name of Boy Dylan to assail Apple for restricting user freedom. Surprisingly, Jobs engaged Tate in a back and forth exchange that lasted well into early Saturday morning. The back and forth is pasted below via Gawker.
