The System Center Pack Catalog is Moving

Microsoft's new Pinpoint Technology being used for System Center packs

Actually, the catalog has already moved – beginning Wednesday evening with replication taking a while to filter through. The catalog is now hosted by a technology known as “Pinpoint.” Pinpoint came to life as a directory of qualified IT companies and their software solutions built on Microsoft technologies, and is now being used for other things as well (such as the System Center catalog). If you go to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/systemcenter/cc462790.aspx, you will be redirected to http://pinpoint.microsoft.com/en-US/systemcenter/managementpackcatalog. (Some of the links still go to the old location, but don’t count on that to last for long.)

See what you think – and if you want to submit comments / feedback to Microsoft, there’s a thread on the OpsMgr MP forum – http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/operationsmanagermgmtpacks/thread/1ed5040d-5dd6-4c4b-99c4-daf4ba43deb9
