The University of California today is celebrating the opening of the new home for its four-campus Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society, which is mercifully shortened to CITRIS. CITRIS has been around since 2001.
The new facility on the UC Berkeley campus will be headquarters for research that addresses environmental, social and healthcare challenges through collaborative IT teaching efforts.
