Microsoft Learning recently released several new courses – covering Windows Server 2008, and the much anticipated Windows 7. These new course help roundout the latest instructor-led courses, especially for those of you who like to stay on the cutting edge (don’t we all?). These products were just released to manufacturing last month, so they should be available at Learning Solutions Partners near soon, if not already.

6289 – First Look: Windows 7 for IT Professionals This three-hour instructor-led clinic introduces students to new features in Microsoft Windows 7 Beta: user productivity, improved security and control, streamlined PC management, and desktop optimization.
6290 – First Look: Windows 7 for IT Professionals Hands-on Lab (Beta) This three hour lab is a companion to the 6289 course and provides hands-on practice with the main technical areas of Windows 7: User Productivity, Improved Security and Control, Streamlined PC Management, and Desktop Optimization
6420 – Fundamentals of Windows Server 2008 Network and Applications Infrastructure This five-day instructor-led course introduces students to network and applications infrastructure concepts and configurations provided by Window Server 2008. Students will be able to acquire a fundamental understanding in order to pursue advanced topics available for certification in the network and applications infrastructure areas
6423 – Implementing and Managing Windows Server 2008 Clustering This three-day instructor-led course introduces Windows Server 2008 clustering and provides students with the knowledge and skills to implement, maintain, and troubleshoot clusters.
