Colorado State University on April 17 will have a grand opening ceremony, pep band and all, for its new $14 million Computer Science Building in Fort Collins, Colo.
The four-story building boasts 3 labs, including one that is open to students around the clock. The building hosts the Department of Computer Science and the Information Science & Technology Center. Current research projects out of the Department of Computer Science include Revisiting DNS Security and building the Next Generation Global Route Monitoring System.
The building has technically been in operation since the start of spring semester, and for those of you not in the area, you can keep tabs on things via this webcam.
As for Computer Science degrees, there’s some debate about how much they are in demand these days.
