NFT Consult, a virtual human resource company based in Uganda, has established an office in Kigali, Rwanda, to take advantage of the country’s market.
“Following unprecedented levels of growth in the Uganda market in 2008, NFT Consult is continuing to plot its growth trajectory with the addition of 50 initial customer service agents in Rwanda serving RwandaTel and assisting in the recruitment of over 50 service center sales and support staff,” Badru Ntege, an NFT director, said.
In Rwanda, NFT will provide a wide range of services, including permanent, temporary and contract recruitment; employee assessment and selection; training; outplacement; outsourcing; and consulting.
The establishment of the Kigali office will open Rwanda and Uganda’s untapped human resource pools to customers, Ntege said.
According to Ntege, the initial team in Kigali will come from Kampala. In the long run, however, the operation will be fully manned by Rwandese professionals who will be carefully selected and trained to deliver and maintain the services, he explained.
NFT was established in Uganda in 2006 and today works with organizations in both the public and private sectors, including Alcatel, DStv, MTN and Uganda Telecom.
The firm focuses on raising productivity for its clients through improved quality, efficiency and cost-reduction, enabling customers to concentrate on their core businesses.
