I am positive that the PowerShot A650 is an excellent digital camera. Spec-wise, we are talking 12.1 megapixels, 6x optical zoom lens with image stabilizer, and a rash of extra features. It has a solid feel and with that Canon-type “handgrip” body, you can point and shoot with one hand. The coolest feature is a 2.5-inch LCD that folds out and swivels so you can flip it around and see yourself when you’re taking shots of you standing in front of someplace interesting or you and somebody else. The PowerShot has lots of other “plus” features – it works on regular batteries, you can run it on automatic or set it to your own specifications, it can record VCR quality video, and it comes with a 32MB memory card.
