Description: The Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere offers iPod enthusiasts a way to turn an iPod into a full-blown boombox. The four little speakers offer impressive sound considering their size, and the unit itself is well built. The included remote is a nice touch, but is mostly useful for adjusting volume – unless you can read the screen of your iPod from across the room. Small sliding bars extend from the unit to provide a resting base. The included carrying case is first-rate, and considering these speakers are designed to be portable, an appropriate addition to the package.

Battery life is good. During my test, I left the unit on for the better part of a workday, from about 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Playing music at a moderate volume, the unit still had battery power to spare when I got home. One notable missing feature is a clock, which would have been a nice addition to these speakers.

For music enthusiasts, the Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere isn’t going to replace your home stereo system. It does, however, serve as a great portable audio system, and should satisfy your expectations for office use…or a trip to the beach!
