Name these games, win some stuff
With the Sony PS3 and Nintendo Wii out on the market, we’ve been feeling nostalgic for some of the old-school video games of our youth, so fellow Twisted Pair co-host Jason Meserve and I have come up with a contest. We’ve taken recordings of five Atari 2600 video games and embedded them into the player you find here.
If you know what games these came from, send an e-mail to twistedpair@nww.com by next Tuesday (Nov. 28) for a chance to win a cool prize package (basically, a box of stuff from Keith’s office).

Send big files without e-mail
Tired of clogging up your e-mail with attachments?
Check out the myfabrik lite application, which lets people upload files and send them to others without having to attach stuff via e-mail. Users receive an e-mail with a URL link that lets you download the file from the recipient. The official site launches here on Monday.
The system even lets you embed the application into a blog post or Web page, just like I did (see here).
In addition to letting users upload files, you can create your own music playlist and upload that to your site, just like I did (see here).
Nothing really earth-shattering, but easy to use and embed. The service also allows for file sending, videos, slide shows and “photo strips.”
