There were rumors a month ago that Cisco might buy Trend Micro – it turns out the two were working on fleshing out their partnership instead. 3Com took Trapeze Networks hardware and created a wireless LAN switch. It’s actually the kid sister to 3Com’s other wireless switches, and coordinates with them over a WAN link.
