Is there a free Web photo-album generator that indexes document files in addition to pictures?

There are many Web album-generator packages, but the one I like is JAlbum, a free Java application with versions for Macintosh and Unix systems. JAlbum indexes zip files, Word documents, PDF files and images when you create an album. Other file types can be added to the list of items included in an album listing by modifying the filetypes.xml file included with the program. To use JAlbum, download and install the package for your operating system from www.jalbum.net. After starting the program, drag and drop the directory from which you want to make an album onto the Image Directory field in the JAlbum dialog and click the Make Album button. The program creates an HTML-based Web album directory that contains thumbnails and full-sized images suitable for copying to your Web site. Viewing the album online requires only a browser. Java is not required for working with the finished album. JAlbum provides several skins to choose from for your album pages, and there are several options that let you customize the layout.
