The mother of all outsourcing deals has prematurely ended. JPMorgan Chase has decided to drop IBM less than two years into a seven-year contract and do most of its IT in-house. JPMorgan was the “poster child” for outsourcing and IBM’s much ballyhooed “on-demand” computing thrust. Guess it’s time to look for a new poster child.
