The center will work on chipsets for Qualcomm’s Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) cellular technology in areas including software, DSP firmware and hardware development, design, testing and technical customer support, the company said in a brief statement. The center will also provide operator support and customization of CDMA modem software and chipsets for specific handset manufacturers and operators, Qualcomm said.
