VoIP needs the magic touch of Apple CEO Steve Jobs to get people wanting to talk over IP as much as they covet an iPod, says the organizer of the Spring VON 2004 conference that’s taking place this week in Santa Clara, Calif. AT&T for one,  hopes it can inject some coolness into the technology as it rolls out a residential VoIP service across the nation this year.
