Cisco is purposely putting itself in the dark on March 29 when it does its bit for the environment. According to the Cisco Sales USA & Canada blog, Cisco will be turning off non-essential lights in many Cisco buildings for an hour at 8 p.m. local time as part of Earth Hour. Cisco says: “We encourage everyone on site to participate by turning off computer monitors and the lights in work space before leaving work at the end of the week on Friday, March 28, 2008.”
