Cisco overtaken by Huawei in telecoms network management

Huawei has pushed Cisco off its spot as the fourth largest supplier of telecoms network management software in the world, according to a report by researcher OSS Observer. Cisco is now in fifth position. According to the researcher, the top three, Ericsson, Alcatel-Lucent and Nokia Siemens Networks have a combined market share of 61% in a market that is forecast to grow from $4 billion in 2007 to $5.6 billion in 2012.
