Here’s an interesting video posted on Tina Wood‘s blog, located on 10 (a journal that covers socially responsible computing)

She interviews Michael Manos the senior director of Data Center Services for Microsoft. The software giant is building some massive data center facilities in secret locations around the world. These sites house everything from Live to Hotmail. “Can you imagine a building 1.3 miles big?” Tina asks.

Yes, we can. What’s harder to imagine is that stadium-sized building also being green, which Manos claims it is. He also offers inside skinny on the daily operations of the mega glass room. Watch the video here.
