Apple has posted 3 TV ads on its web site — dubbed “Never Been an iPod,” “Calimari” and “How To.” The ads state that the much anticipated devices will become available June 29. The FCC recently approved the devices, paving the way for sales.

That means Verizon, with its “iPhone killer,” better get going. AT&T is already readying an iPhone offering for businesses.

Perhaps with the iPhone nearly available, Apple can get back to focusing on its next generation Leopard OS, which had been delayed due in part to the iPhone rollout .
