Cisco is working to get more of its equipment in India businesses. It’s pumping an extra $250 million into Cisco Capital, the network giant’s finance arm dedicated at providing financing and leasing options to customers and parters, reports Lessors Network.
According to Lessors Network, Cisco Capital has already “infused $110 million out of its first $150 million India fund.” The fund was launched in 2005, initially to help finance large technology projects, and has been extended to reach small and midsize businesses. Cisco makes available to large customers $2 million to $10 million in funding, and around $200,000 to SMBs.
