Cisco IP phones open to attack

Session Initiation Protocol flaws are making Cisco 7940/7960 IP Phones vulnerable to denial-of-service attacks. The problem was originally discovered by researchers at Radu State. Firmware versions 8.7(0) and later of the phones are not vulnerable to this issue, reports Cisco.
