The iPhone is found to have traces of two toxic chemicals that have been eliminated by some of Apple’s rivals from their products. A senior scientist at ecoadvocacy group Greenpeace found phthalate plasticisers in the iPhone which are classed as toxic to reproduction as they can interfere with sexual reproduction in mammals.
