Researchers in London have conducted a study to find out why people are spooked by using computer technology and have come up with methods for helping them get online. They found that one thing holding people back from using computers more was a lack of spelling ability: they got really frustrated when plugging misspelled words into search engines. Researchers also found that most courses today are geared more toward using computers at work, not at home.
